How to Install the Pendant Lamp

Steps

1. Attach the power cord. Locate the assistant, who will keep the lamp on the ceiling until you connect the wire from the unit to the wires from the junction box. The connection is made according to the instructions for the luminaire. Usually, the white wire is connected to the white and black - with a black cord. Twist the bare ends of the wires. If the bare ends of the wires are too short, you can clean them with a special tool. Screw wire nuts / connectors to close the exposed connections and securely fix them. If they are not supplied with a lamp, get these connectors at any hardware store.
2. Perform grounding. Locate the fixture ground wire. Depending on the wiring harness, you secure it to the ground screw in the terminal box or attach a speaker to the ground wire. The ground wire is usually represented by a green wire or bare copper wire. If you have a ground screw tighten it to secure the wire.
3. Attach the wires. Push or Fold wires into junction box, making sure that they are all bonded wire nuts.
4. Install the mounting bracket and / or screws. Your new lamp must have the complete bracket and / or the fixing screws to secure the fixture to the junction box. The appearance depends on your lamp design. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Hang the fixture. Attach the dome or the lamp base to the screws or bracket. In some cases, the problem involves assigning fixing screws with small holes in the lamp housing and turning it a quarter turn. In other cases, the need to secure the lamp screws to the mounting bracket.
6. Screw the ST 64 Edison bulb. Screw in the light bulb suitable power and size.
7. Turn the power on the machine. Now, your lamp is to be switched on. If the lamp does not work, turn off the electricity again and check the wiring.
8. Complete the installation. Install all the remaining elements of the lamp (circle, cover, cover), and adjust the height.

Advice

For optimal lighting, the rubber pendant lights must be placed at a height of 150-165 cm above the floor level or 75 cm above the table surface. Do not install the lights in places where they will interfere with the passage. The height of the luminaire models most regulated.
