Israel 250 MW solar power station to create unlimited possibilities

JASO, one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-performance solar products, announced today (February 12) the supply of single crystal PERC modules for Ashalim's 250 MW solar power plant in Israel.

The plant was developed by EDF, a global power company giant, and EDI, a leading Israeli renewable energy company, and built by BELECTRIC, one of the world's largest power station general contractors. Upon completion, the power station will become Israel's largest power station and the fifth largest renewable energy power station in the world, which is of great significance to drastically reduce environmental pollution and promote the utilization of local renewable energy. Solar energy is indeed a renewable resource that deserves wide application. In our daily life, there are many products that can use solar energy to generate electricity, such as the solar powered led light, which is efficient and economical.

The 250 MW power station is located in the Negev Desert and includes solar thermal power and photovoltaic power generation. The 35 MW PV power station is wholly owned by JA, the only supplier of PERC components, which was connected to the grid in December 2017. JA is the core patentee of PERC and its PERC component can better adapt to desert high temperature difference and high UV desert environment, can avoid the sudden change of temperature causing component attenuation and aging, with higher reliability and power generation efficiency, to enhance the system providing a powerful guarantee of power generation.
